Requests arrive complete
Nothing reaches you without every required document. Students under 18 must also attach signed guardian consent. Missing or expired documents block the request.
Review in one screen
Identity-verified student, age, school, message, availability, and each document one click away. Approve, ask for more, or decline, with a note.
Sign off hours
After the day, enter the hours observed. One click, and they become clinic-verified clinical hours on the student’s official record and export to AMCAS.

Encrypted before storage
Every file is AES-256-GCM encrypted in the app before it reaches storage. The bucket only ever holds ciphertext; the key never leaves the server process.
Scoped, audited reads
Your coordinators can open a document only while a live request from that student names it. Every open is logged with who, when and from where. Access ends when the request closes.
Expiry tracked
TB tests, flu shots and HIPAA certificates carry expiry dates. Expired documents cannot be attached, so you never review a stale one.
Verified adults, consenting guardians
Adults pass identity verification; students under 18 are linked to a verified guardian who is notified of every request and decision.
Audit trail for your compliance office
Requests, decisions, document reads and hour confirmations are timestamped and exportable. Evidence is preserved under legal hold on any safety report.

What coordinators ask
Do we have to accept anyone?
No. Shadowing is by request only. There is no open sign-up; you decide who, when and how many.
Can we use our own consent form?
Yes. Upload your template and require it as the consent document; students sign and attach it from their vault.
Where are the documents stored?
Encrypted in the app before they reach storage, on infrastructure you can choose. Coordinators see documents in the browser; nothing is emailed.
What does it cost?
Nothing for clinics. Volanee earns a small fee on paid neighborhood and business listings, not on volunteering or shadowing.
