Worker Terms (18 and over)
These terms apply to Workers who are 18 or older and supplement the Terms of Service.
- Independent. You perform jobs as an independent person, not as an employee of Volanee or of any Hirer. You decide which jobs to apply for and how to do the work within what was posted. Volanee does not set your hours, provide tools, or supervise you.
- Verification. You must complete identity verification before applying, and a background check before any job inside a private home or involving minors.
- Payment. The price is fixed when the Hirer accepts you. You receive 100% of it in your balance on completion, and pay out to your own bank account through Stripe Connect. Optional instant payouts carry the fee shown.
- Taxes. You are responsible for your own taxes. Volanee and Stripe will issue tax forms where the law requires it and will ask you for the information needed to do so.
- Insurance and risk. You are responsible for your own safety, equipment and any insurance you choose to carry. Do not take jobs you are not qualified or equipped to do safely.
- Conduct. The Community & Safety Guidelines apply. Late withdrawals earn strikes; three strikes suspend the account.
Attorney review. This document was drafted by Volanee to reflect how the product actually works. It must be reviewed by a licensed attorney in each state of operation before public launch, and updated when laws change. Questions: legal@volanee.app.
