Guardian Consent for Teen Workers

Volanee lets people aged 13 to 17 find paid odd jobs and volunteer opportunities near home. A teen's account is locked until a parent or legal guardian ("Guardian") links to it with a family code and agrees to this document.

What you are agreeing to

1. You are the parent or legal guardian of the teen, you are at least 18, and you will verify your identity so that a real adult is responsible for the account.
2. You consent to the teen's use of Volanee under the Terms of Service and to the collection of their information as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. You understand that Volanee is a marketplace. Volanee does not employ, supervise or transport your teen, and does not guarantee the conduct of Hirers or Organizations. Identity verification and background checks reduce risk; they do not remove it.
4. You will review every paid job before it is accepted. Volanee sends each one to you and it cannot proceed without your approval. You may turn on automatic approval for volunteer opportunities.
5. You can set limits the app enforces: paid work on or off, volunteering on or off, a weekly hour cap, blocked categories, and whether you can read your teen's messages. You can revoke your approval at any time, which ends your teen's sessions immediately.
6. Volanee enforces youth-work limits (4 hours per job maximum, nothing ending after 8 PM on a school night, category age minimums). You remain responsible for complying with your state's child labor rules, including any work permit your school or state requires.
7. Payouts of your teen's earnings are made to a bank account you control through Stripe Connect. Earnings may be taxable; you are responsible for any filings.
8. You agree that your teen will not share contact details or arrange work or payment outside the app, and that you will report any concern using the in-app Get help tool, which routes safety concerns to a person immediately.

What your teen agrees to

To be honest about age and skills, to keep every job and message inside the app, to tell you and Volanee if anything feels wrong, and to follow the Community & Safety Guidelines.

Withdrawal

You may withdraw consent at any time from the Family screen. Doing so locks the teen's account. Records required by law or under legal hold are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
